In 1956 a group of enthusiastic teenagers informally gathered their talent, or lack of it,
and sought to enlist themselves in the Junior Division of the new defunct Buffalo Municipal Amateur Hockey League. Because it appeared that I could stand up on skates they asked me to guide their destinies. Enthusiasm and persistence were of necessity because in a municipality, baseball, football and basketball were the primary sports. Much hardship had to be endured to participate in hockey, such as 4:00 a.m. jaunts on foot to desolate Fort Erie were commonplace. Under the improbable name of the Scorpions, these erstwhile neophytes finished a predicted last. In the following year, after much thought, we decided to displace the name of the Scorpions With that of the Regals, The Regal name was not borrowed, since we were interested in perpetuating our own name and reputation. Historically in the fall of 1957, the birth of the Regals Hockey Club took place.
The Blue Paint Network allows athletes, parents, and coaches the opportunity to connect, and facilitates the development and advancement of athletes in their respective sport by offering them opportunities to compete at high-level events and receive guidance from experienced coaches.
Members of the Network are given access to compete in the most prestigious events the market has to offer.
The network actively collaborates with organizers of elite events, and has secured invitations for our registered athletes to participate in these events, providing them with a chance to showcase their skills and compete against other top-level athletes.

He has trained with or under several successful coaches in the goaltending world, including KHL champions and Olympic Gold medalists. Coaching wise, Vilardo has trained goaltenders at the Pro, NCAA, Jr, Prep School, and youth levels.

Janosz School of Goaltending’s unique age and skill specific camps will develop each student’s mental, physical, and emotional skills to achieve a balance of “blocking” and “reacting” saves. Coaching at the NHL/AHL Level and scouting for USA Hockey gives Janosz the insights to what scouts and coaches look for in a goaltender.

The Tier 1 Hockey Federation ("THF") is a USA Hockey Sanctioned Tier-I Youth Hockey League that offers a highly competitive environment for Tier 1 and elite clubs nationwide, with an unbalanced schedule that ensures top-level play. The THF is managed by a team of dedicated professionals with over 200 AAA teams, ranging from 9U-18U age levels.
One of the key advantages of the THF is its ability to bring together clubs from multiple leagues and states, providing a unique opportunity for young players to compete against the best in the country. But what truly sets the THF apart is the fact that it's the only organization whose members operate franchises in the top junior hockey leagues in the US for NCAA Division I commitments, including the USHL, NAHL, NCDC, and the top two junior hockey leagues for NCAA Division III commitments, the USPHL Premier Division and Elite Division. This unique structure ensures that THF players have access to a wide variety of opportunities to further their hockey careers at the college level and beyond.
