With extensive ice hockey coaching experience since 2008, Head Coach Joshua Lewis brings deep knowledge and unwavering dedication to player development for athletes of all ages and skill levels. His background includes co-coaching the Niagara University Club Hockey program, where he guided collegiate athletes through intensive practices to enhance performance and strategic gameplay. He has also served as assistant coach for the Lewiston Porter junior varsity team, fostering teamwork and skill-building in a competitive high school setting.
Additionally, Coach Lewis has led foundational programs such as Learn to Skate, introducing beginners to the essentials of hockey and igniting their passion for the sport.
Holding a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education and a Master’s in Special Education, Coach Lewis excels at communicating with diverse groups and tailoring instruction to individual needs, ensuring every player masters skating fundamentals and gains confidence on the ice. He is committed to creating inclusive environments that unlock potential through hard work and accountability, supported by a staff equally focused on holistic development.

Miles Brown, assistant coach for the 2018 Triple A Buffalo Regals.
Brown’s coaching aspirations are built on a solid foundation of playing experience and mentorship roles. He is a former player with St. Bonaventure University’s Division 1 Club Hockey Team in the AAU league and the Buffalo Sabres youth organization, including stints with the Buffalo Regals U15 AAA and U16 AAA teams in the 2018-19 season. Since April 2023, he has served as a hockey coach with Kevin O’Neil Hockey in Buffalo, where he educates players on gameplay and skating fundamentals, advances the skills of young athletes, and fosters teamwork and communication in a positive environment.
In addition to his ongoing coaching duties, Brown has helped run skills clinics and tryouts, honing his leadership abilities and passion for guiding the next generation. He has also worked with the 2016 Triple A Premier Hockey Team for the 2025-2026 season, contributing to their training and preparation.
With his firsthand experience as a player and growing coaching acumen, Miles Brown is poised to inspire and lead as an assistant coach, emphasizing skill-building, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in youth hockey.

Bob Janosz Goaltending will be providing training to our goalies. Janosz Goaltending develops goalies’ mental, physical, and emotional skills to help them achieve the ideal balance between “blocking” and “reacting” saves. Bob Janosz has coached at the NHL, AHL, NCAA, and OHL levels, and his scouting experience with USA Hockey gives him unique insight into what scouts and coaches look for in a goaltender. Janosz has been coaching goaltenders of all ages and skill levels for the past 22 years.

Head Coach Josh Lewis’ son, Wyatt Lewis (2016), is currently enrolled in Janosz’s mentorship program along with Maximus Bellinger ( 2018 ).
Introduction to Cole Hudson, Goalie Coach for the 8U Hockey Team: Cole Hudson hails from Tonawanda, New York. His youth career featured the Buffalo Regals 16U AAA (2015-2017) and Gilmour Academy in the MPHL (2017-2018). In juniors, he played for the South Shore Kings (NCDC, 2018-2019), Rockland Nationals (CCHL, 2019-2020), and had a standout 2020-2021 season with the Shreveport Mudbugs (NAHL), leading them to the Robertson Cup Championship with a 1.54 playoff GAA and .941 SV% in 9 wins. At the college level, he suited up for the University of Vermont (NCAA DI, 2021-2023), American International College (2023-2024), and SUNY-Brockport (NCAA DIII, 2024-2025). As a coach, Cole focuses on building technique, confidence, and passion for the game in young goalies.
Nick Vilardo is a current professional goaltender. He represented the USA U-17 National Team at the 2013 Five Nations Tournament in Slovakia. Professionally, Nick has played in Poland, Sweden, Kazakhstan/Russia. Vilardo attended Buffalo Sabres NHL development camp in 2022. Vilardo attributes his time spent around the world, especially Russia, as a main reason for his goaltending knowledge. He has trained with or under several successful coaches in the goaltending world, including KHL champions and Olympic Gold medalists. Coaching wise, Vilardo has trained goaltenders at the Pro, NCAA, Jr, Prep School, and youth levels.

Tom Mooradian is a proven hockey leader and skills coach with a track record of transforming players and programs at Niagara University (ACHA M1), where he has served as head coach and program director since 2019. Under his guidance, the team achieved historic milestones, including multiple conference championships, national tournament appearances, and top-10 national rankings, by focusing on individual skill development and team growth. A Niagara alumnus with a Bachelor of Science in Sales & Marketing, Tom was a four-year Academic All-American player and team captain, bringing firsthand expertise to nurturing young talent. He has recruited and developed over 55 athletes from North America’s top junior leagues like the BCHL, NAHL, and OJHL, helping them excel on and off the ice. Tom is excited to bring his passion for player development to the 2018 Regals, inspiring young skaters to build confidence, hone their skills, and fall in love with the game.
Rob Bellinger, a visionary entrepreneur who has successfully founded and led multiple thriving companies over the past two decades, stands as the exemplary General Manager of the Titans. Cynthia Bellinger brings over 15 years of experience managing corporate finances for some of the region’s largest nonprofit organizations. She specializes in maintaining strict budgetary control, optimizing spending, and ensuring seamless financial operations that keep every initiative on track and fully compliant. In her role with the 8U hockey team, Cynthia applies her expertise to oversee team finances, including budgeting for equipment, travel, tournaments, and fundraising efforts, ensuring the program remains sustainable and accessible for young athletes while adhering to all relevant regulations and best practices. Her dedication to fiscal responsibility supports the team’s mission to foster skill development, teamwork, and fun in a safe, organized environment. She is the battery that makes the team run, providing the essential energy and structure to keep everything operating smoothly.
